There has been a huge increase in Student hardship applications with too many different application forms. These paper based forms are not only time consuming for both staff and students but are costly in production and postage and difficult for students who are currently outside of the UK. Assessment processes also vary between funds and staff need to be knowledgeble of a large number of regulations.
